to new beginnings

Another year has past, where has the time gone? "Life is too short," it really is, the years seem to get shorter and shorter. As time elapsed, we're closer to our destination... the journey isn't over! :)
What can I say about this year? Well, I'm just thankful for everything.
I've grown up and realized to appreciate myself and see that even though life gets more complicated as you mature, it's still alright (and a good thing) to be optimistic. :)
Life is too short to weigh yourself down, love yourself! Make the world beautiful! :D

These memories will never be erased.
It has embossed itself in my heart.
I bury them into the ground.
These memories will sprout out of the dirt
and bloom into something beautiful,
worthwhile and delicate.
In the meantime, it's just waiting to germinate.

Whenever I feel doubtful,
I would remember the words of
a wise professor I had.
His words of encouragement
made me put some things in perspective.
I had always thought it was remarkable he told this
to me specifically, but now I see clearly.
He saw in me, what I would not expect
a person like him to see.

It rolls in and out, sweeping away everything that was left on shore.

It departs, as there is no homecoming, it doesn't look back.

Rolling free, no compass can direct its path.

Where it goes? No one ever knows.
