February Favorites

King Charles: I've been obsessed with his album for the past two months. This album makes me feel like I'm in love, and every time I hear it, I'm happy. Love Lust has been on replay constantly. 

Electric Guest: Rediscovered them recently and have been enjoying their jazzy album, Mondo. I love listening to them when I'm studying. 

 STRFKR: Mellow, yet very dance-y. I can't believe I haven't gave them a listen earlier, I've always heard of them but never gave them a chance, but I'm glad I did. Their newest album Miracle Mile is amazing. 

Haim: These lovely ladies are just rad. I saw them back in December and was blown away by their awesome stage presence. I love everything about them. 

Lorde: Boy am I late on this bandwagon. When I first heard her last May, on my way to Ventura to see Arctic Monkeys, I wasn't really into the song "Royals" or her in particular. Her playlist would play at my work and she grew on me, so I gave her album a listen and it's actually really good. Now I feel differently about Royals. I love her lyrics and how it's so dark, plus she has an amazing voice. She kind of reminds me of Florence + the Machine but more of a gothic celestial feel. 

I've never been a lipstick wearer, but now I can see they make a difference. My MAC lipstick collection is growing, it's pretty sad. But I've been loving Cosmo and Craving.

No more coffee for me! I've got rid of the addiction, finally! Now it's chai tea latte.

Aaron Paul's wife, Lauren, has got to be one of the most beautiful women on this planet. Not only is she physically gorgeous, she's kind hearted and selfless. She puts her passion on campaigning against bullying, and even has her own charity. I find it inspiring that there are so many people on this planet that enjoy putting people first and encouraging all to do the same.

The first time I saw and heard their music was on SNL back when I was a sophomore in high school in 2006. They've been my favorite band ever since.
